These past few days have been filled with interesting adventures.
Here in Nebraska, particularly in North Platte, there are
three "RUNZA" restaurants.
The running joke is "Runza gives you the Runzas!"
It's a pretty interesting place to go... they serve things that look like this:
These little guys are called Runzas.... interesting... we've yet to try one, though,
we're a little scared.
Yesterday (Monday) we went to the Fort Cody Trading Post in town.
Our town is home to Buffalo Bill Cody, and so he gets an entire trading post
dedicated to him.
There were awesome things inside such as:
This two-headed cow. Yes, we know you're jealous.
There was also a plastic reenactment case inside as well that was rather thrilling.
Cowboys & Indians going at it.
It was an adventure for sure.
Other than going to Runza's (no, we did not get the runzas ;])
and checking out the Fort Cody Trading Post,
we have just been hanging out at home.
Brian's parents have been here since Sunday night
and they leave Wednesday morning.
It has been great having them visit us here in Nebraska.
We've been playing a lot of Carcassonne
which, when YOU come and visit us, faithful blog reader,
we will play this with you, and you will like it.
Oh, our parents left for their big adventure Sunday night as well!
They flew to Hong Kong and arrived safely, then flew to Bali.
They leave Bali soon to arrive in Dili which is close to their
new home in East Timor!
We are so excited for them!
Alright, I think that is it for now. A short, sweet, and to the point
blog post... we know, you're not used to it,
which is good, and you shouldn't get used to it, either,
because they won't usually be like this... just saying.
Until Next Time...
I think the Runzas look delicious. Let me know if and when you try them how they taste.
ReplyDeleteBrian's parents tried them - they said that they were alright, but that they wouldn't get them again, lol.... It looks kind of like a philly cheesesteak but with ground beef, lol. :)
